 The «Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit» of the University of Central Greece, within the framework of the Operational Programme «Education and Lifelong Learning" of the «National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) 2007 -2013», is organizing Entrepreneurship Week which will be held from 14th to 18th of November 2011, in the Department of Regional Economic Development in Levadia and the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics in Lamia.

 According to the schedule, the participants are going to have the opportunity to attend a series of seminar lectures on crucial issues of practical interest relating to the development and the support of entrepreneurial initiatives, but also the implementation of new innovative actions in the modern enterprising environment.

Technological Education Institute (T.E.I.) of Larissa

“The Career and Employment Structure, Career Office, On the Job Training Program and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit of Technological Education Institute of Larissa are organizing a meeting on Education and Career Opportunities.”

 

The Career and Employment Structures of the Technological Education Institute (T.E.I.) of Larissa are organizing a meeting on Education and Career Opportunities, and invite students, companies and Employment Unions to participate. The meeting is being organized within the framework of the Operational Program “Education and Lifelong Learning”, which is co-financed by Greece and the European Union.

The main goal of the meeting is to develop co-operation between business world and education on issues of common interest. Specifically, Employment and Career Unions as well as companies will have the opportunity to inform students about the knowledge and practical skills businesses require. On the other hand, the Technological Education Institute of Larissa will inform business’ representatives about the aims and the way the Career and Employment Structure (D.A.STA.)  of the T.E.I. of Larissa is operating, contributing to the process of better co-operation. Moreover, the meeting constitutes a great opportunity for both sides (businesses and education) to discover common fields of action on innovation and entrepreneurship, on the job training program for students, and finding new methods, enabling employability.

For these purposes, Career and Employment Structure of T.E.I. of Larissa is organizing this meeting, which will be held on 23th November 2011, in the amphitheater of Administration and Project Management Department of the T.E.I. (new building), from 9.00a.m. to 19.00p.m.

The meeting will include two main parts of speeches. In the first part, a brief description of the Structures mentioned above, as well as the informative system of D.A.STA. will be presented. Second part will include businesses’ and Employment Unions’ representatives presentations. It is noted that during the meeting, till 19.00p.m., educational and employment brochures will be available outside the amphitheater, to all participants.
