Alþjóðleg athafnavika á Höfn

Athafnavikan fór vel af stað hérna á Höfn og við erum með 65 atburði skráða sem hlýtur að teljast góður árangur í sveitarfélagi sem telur um 2.100 íbúa.

Kærleikstrefillinn lengist og lengist og núna áðan voru krakkar úr fimmta bekk Grunnskóla Hornafjarðar að prjóna þátttakendur í honum eru orðnir rúmlega fjörutíu. Vinnu við málverkið lýkur í dag og eigum við von á leikskólabörnum frá leikskólanum Krakkakoti til okkar eftir hádegi. Mér skilst að fjöldi þeirra sem höfðu málað í gær væri í kringum fimmtíu manns. Í hádeginu 16. - 18. nóvember bauð Þekkingarnet Austurland upp á hláturjóga. Framhaldsskólinn í Austur Skaftafellssýslu var með þrautalausn í hádeginu en hún gekk út á það að þátttakendur áttu að koma eggjum á milli staða án þess að nota hendur. Þá var einnig sýndur sjónvarpsþátturinn Handan við Hornið, en það er afrakstur af verkefni sem þrír nemendur framhaldskólans unnu á námskeiðinu Sóknarbraut sem var haldið síðastliðið vor.

Athafnateygjurnar okkar Hjalta ganga nokkuð rösklega manna á milli og ef ég verð vör við að teygjurnar stoppi þá hika ég ekki við að ýta við fólki. Við viljum að sem flestir bæjarbúar fái tækifæri til að vera með í þessum skemmtilega leik það er líka svo gaman að sjá hvað fólk er að fást við.
