For one week, millions of young people around the world join a growing movement of entrepreneurial people, to generate new ideas and to seek better ways of doing things. Countries across 6 continents come together to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week, an initiative to think big; to turn their ideas into reality and to make their mark
The objective is to sensitize the different sections of the society on the tremendous entrepreneurial potential of youth and the support mechanisms needed to nurture and empower them. This is an opportunity to be part of a forum to network with & interact with young people from educational Institutions, development sectors, leading corporate houses, representatives from Government, NGO’s in the field of entrepreneurship development especially, media, youth associations and to showcase your services and commitment in empowering through growth of new businesses in India. THE LAUNCH: GEW launch coinciding with the Common Wealth Games in
POST LAUNCH will witness a host of activities that would help to encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs to be inspired. In doing so, they will begin to acquire the knowledge, skills and networks needed to grow innovative, sustainable enterprises that have a positive impact on their lives, their families and communities. This will be accomplished through activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators.
Sowing the Seed- “Harvest would be plentiful”
Over 10000 youth will be exposed to entrepreneurship and they would be counseled and encouraged to set up their own businesses. The spirit of entrepreneurship would be ignited.
All the participants of the various programmes during this month will be administered an oath that commits to support one another person to take up entrepreneurship within the next one year.
Marketing Simulation Game for School Students
Students from both Private and Public schools will be encouraged in a marketing simulation game.
Affirmative Action-Getting the deprived into action!
Groups of people belonging to such groups will be chosen and inspired with success stories of existing success stories.
