This workshop will give you an insight into a sporting development model that when applied to the world of business produces top class performers. It challenges delegates to: Identify skills required within the business Assess individuals and identify talent within the business against this framework Deal with people within the business in different ways Looks at coaching as the preferred approach to developing others Establishes what underpins good coaching Provides a simple coaching model to work through Gives delegates the opportunity to practice and hone their new found coaching skills in a safe environment The objectives of the workshop are: To develop a framework of specific skills and attributes each person should posses to excel at their role To identify talented people upon whom attention should be focused; i.e. the good people who can benefit from this program output To assess those individuals against the mini- academy skills framework, identifying key areas of strength that can be built upon, and/or areas of weakness that need to be improved To gain insight into how to deal with different people within the business To equip the manager with coaching skills required to develop and deal with people Who should attend? This one day workshop is designed, to benefit managing directors, leaders and line managers and it offers practical information on how to assess individuals against the requirements of the business with a view to identifying good people who will benefit from development.
